Safety focused tree care for homes and businesses across Sumter, SC. Our local tree service crew handles trimming, removal, and storm cleanup with an honest, straightforward approach.
Sumter is a city of big, old hardwoods, from the cypress knees around Swan Lake Iris Garden to the mature oaks shading the historic homes along Main Street. Those same trees that make the city beautiful can also become a liability once a limb weakens, a root starts lifting a sidewalk, or a storm rolls through from the coast.
Our crews work throughout Sumter's residential neighborhoods and out toward the rural stretches near Shaw Air Force Base and Poinsett State Park, where wooded lots and long driveways are the norm rather than the exception. We know which species in this area tend to split in high wind, which yards flood after heavy rain, and how to get a truck and chipper into tight in town lots without tearing up a lawn.
Whether you own a modest home near downtown or manage grounds for a commercial property on the edge of town, our tree care services are built to match the way Sumter actually lives and works.
From a single leaning oak in the backyard to a full lot clearing project, our team covers the full range of tree work Sumter properties need. Every job starts with a straightforward look at the property and an honest plan for the work.
Ongoing commercial tree maintenance for office parks, apartment communities, and other properties across Sumter that need dependable, scheduled care.
24 hour tree service for hazardous limbs, leaning trunks, and storm damage that can't wait until morning.

Safe, complete tree removal for dead, diseased, or hazardous trees, including tight spaces near homes, fences, and power lines.
Professional tree trimming and tree pruning that improves tree health, clears roof lines, and keeps limbs away from structures.

I had Tip Top Tree Service remove 5 large trees from my property. Their service from estimate to completion was nothing short of excellent. They even had to utilize my neighbors property. The owner Joshua abd his employees are some of the most respectful , responsible and hard working people I have ever dealt with. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ❗️I won't consider anyone else. Jim Copeland
Great people to work with. Did an awesome job and came quickly to remove a fallen tree on our house. Great family owned company!
Truly amazing work! I've hired them 3-4 times over the last 6 years. Always exceptional! On the last job they cut down a huge tree that over hung the house and cleaned up well beyond what I would have expected! Solid team and having watched them work they take it seriously.
Joe and his crew were fantastic. One of the trees they cut down was over 100 ft high. Great price, Great work !
These guys are a must call. Our HOA had them remove 7 big pines & prune a large oak. Best price & service! Highly recommended!
Firm did work for our small HOA, and also some personal work for us. Joseph was very patient and attentive in walking through our HOA quote and approval process, and when the work was done, it was executed precisely, on time and with a thorough clean-up. I was especially impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of the Tip Top crew as they performed some pretty detailed pruning for me personally. I highly recommend!
Joseph and Rachel were nothing but professional and friendly during our interactions. The crew arrived early and has completed the job with no issues. Great customer service from beginning to end!! Will recommend to anyone looking for tree removal work!!
What a great crew! Worked hard for 4+hours and did a fantastic job.
Great company and great staff. They communicate well, show up on time and do exactly what is agreed upon. We've used their services more than once and we NEVER had a problem.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot recommend TipTop Tree Service enough! Joseph and Rachel were kind, responsible, and extremely honest. This is the second time I’ve used them, and once again their service was unbelievable. They came late in the day before a storm on the weekend to make sure the job was finished. Their workers were so nice . They treated me like I was the only customer they had, which meant so much. It’s hard to find companies with this level of care and professionalism anymore. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing tree service.
Tip Top Tree Service is my first experience in professional tree removal. Tip Top is prompt, polite and professional. I had a quote within a day and my Bradford Pear was removed days ahead of the scheduled date. Joseph and the work crew are polite, work hard fast and did a great clean up.
On time, good price, excellent service. Would recommend!
