Tip Top Tree Service of Midlands brings dependable local tree service to Lexington's lakefront yards and growing neighborhoods. From tree pruning to full tree removal, we handle it safely.
Our Services
Tree Care Services Suited To Lexington's Growth
Lexington has grown fast over the past decade, and that growth has brought a mix of mature wooded lots and freshly cleared subdivisions all living side by side. Near Lake Murray, towering pines and hardwoods lean over docks and waterfront decks, while newer neighborhoods off Sunset Boulevard and Corley Mill Road deal with fast growing saplings that need regular tree trimming to stay healthy and shaped.
Our crews work throughout town, from the shops and restaurants along Main Street to the quieter streets near Virginia Hylton Park and Gibson Pond Park. We also handle commercial tree services for the retail centers and office parks that have popped up along Sunset Boulevard, keeping parking lot trees, entrance plantings, and storm drains clear of debris.
Whether you need a single dead tree removed from a backyard near the lake or ongoing tree care services for a commercial site, our team treats every Lexington property with the same careful, safety first approach, keeping homes and commercial properties safe from hazardous limbs and storm debris.

Local Conditions That Shape Our Work In Lexington
Lexington's mix of lakefront terrain, sandy clay soil, and fast development creates specific tree care challenges that differ from other parts of the Midlands. Our crews plan around these conditions on every job.
- Mature pines and oaks near Lake Murray are prone to wind throw during summer storms, making hazardous tree removal a frequent call
- Sandy, well drained soil near the water can leave root systems shallow and less stable in high wind
- Newer subdivisions off Corley Mill Road and Augusta Highway often have fast growing young trees that need early, regular tree pruning
- Wooded lots awaiting development attract heavy brush clearing and vegetation clearing requests before building begins
- Storm debris from Lake Murray frequently washes up along docks and shorelines, driving demand for waterfront cleanup and shoreline debris removal
- Overgrown lots left vacant for a season or more often need a full yard cleanup before they're usable again

Janelle Jenkins⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot recommend TipTop Tree Service enough! Joseph and Rachel were kind, responsible, and extremely honest. This is the second time I’ve used them, and once again their service was unbelievable. They came late in the day before a storm on the weekend to make sure the job was finished. Their workers were so nice . They treated me like I was the only customer they had, which meant so much. It’s hard to find companies with this level of care and professionalism anymore. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing tree service.
