This is the second time I’ve used them, and once again their service was unbelievable. They came late in the day before a storm on the weekend to make sure the job was finished. Their workers were so nice . They treated me like I was the only customer they had, which meant so much. It’s hard to find companies with this level of care and professionalism anymore. Tip Top Tree Service is my first experience in professional tree removal. Tip Top is prompt, polite and professional. I had a quote within a day and my Bradford Pear was removed days ahead of the scheduled date. Joseph and the work crew are polite, work hard fast and did a great clean up.

Tip Top Tree Service of Midlands, LLC is top notch, bottom line. Joseph and Rachel went above and beyond to assist in this complex job to remove three large, old oak trees from my back yard; one of which shared a property line with a neighbor. Not only were their prices extremely competitive and cost efficient, their customer service, craftsmanship, expertise, industry & community collaboration, and ability to handle work that requires extensive strategic planning is without question, unmatched. I reside within a historic district of Columbia and my home is 105 years old. These trees easily equal that age and were an impending risk to people, property, and power lines impacting our immediate neighbors and local businesses. Joseph quickly took my call and assessed the job with crane operators to figure out how to access the yard and provide a more than fair quote that beat out many local competitors by far. Rachel, went well above reproach, and coordinated endlessly with our neighbors, local businesses, and Dominion Energy to schedule the job and provide the least amount of impact to not only my family, but to the community. Our decision to take down all three trees was not made lightly between myself and our neighbor as we heavily assessed risk with local arborists. All considerations were communicated with Tip Top over several months before we could schedule the job. Rachel never wavered stayed present and informed throughout the process. Amazingly to see their team work to bring down these three beautiful oak trees over the span of four days. It is sad when such magnificent trees are nearing the end of their lifespan. Tip Top has a system that works and a networked community within to get the job done efficiently from assessment/quote, to crane, to debris hauling and stump grinding. Thank you Tip Top!

Tip Top did a fantastic job, will use them again if another tree needs to come down. They worked with us on scheduling, kept us updated constantly, took on a difficult job of removing a dead pine tree in a tough location that many passed on. They were courteous, cleaned up well and all around provided a great experience.

I got six estimates to remove two trees, one on my property and the other on my neighbor’s. Tip Top was the lowest estimate and most professional in terms of their proposal, terms of service, etc. They did the work within a month of agreeing to use them (and the wait time for other vendors was as much or more). They completed the work on two large downtown trees that were in tight residential spaces in two days, and their cleanup was fantastic. My driveway and lawn were probably cleaner than when they arrived. It was amazing to watch the skills of the workers and how they carefully removed the trees piece-by-piece. I highly recommend this company for any tree removal! Very well done.

What an awesome company!!!! They were the only company of 3 that I reached out to that actually gave me a quote. One never returned my call and the other came out but never sent a quote! I say that was a blessing in disguise!! They had me on their schedule in about 3 weeks. Showed up when they said they would, and with all the rain we’ve had, I truly expected to need to be rescheduled. They took down the trees I needed removed so quickly, removed all the debris, and left my yard in absolutely pristine condition. They even left a slab of one of the trees for my daughter when I asked for it. I cannot recommend this company highly enough!! My stress level is much lower since I no longer have to worry about those trees every time a storm rolls through. They do amazing work in the most professional way, from the first communication until the job was complete!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!

Ms. Rachel texted me from the hospital after just having a BABY to let me know the team would be a little late because her husband could not be there! Chino was the substitute team lead that day (they were only a couple of hours late, because did I mention they had a BABY?!?), and they still did a fantastic job. I went over everything with them because these were different guys but they were so professional, they had it all figured out in minutes and got right to work. I was very happy with the results, they were super efficient, and cleaned everything up perfectly. They were respectful of my neighbors' yards as well as mine. I have used other tree services before but, never again, these are my go-to guys from now on. I thought the pricing was reasonable and I gave the men a tip after working all day so they could get a nice dinner on me!

Hired TipTop to take down three large trees (30ft+) in between the fence line of my and my neighbor’s backyards. Not only did they work quickly and efficiently, they took care to put down mats to minimize damage to my new (8 week old) sod, and they thoroughly cleaned up the work area of all debris after they finished cutting down the trees. Furthermore, Joseph and his crew were meticulous in limbing the trees and clearing the area of any obstructions (like a cable line) before felling the trunk to prevent any damage to my property. Joseph was quick to respond to my inquiries and very professional to work with from the initial quote through the completion of service. We can’t thank Joseph and his team enough for their timely response, professionalism, and expertise which they exhibited while performing an extremely dangerous tree removal. Joseph reprioritized his already extremely busy schedule to remove a tree that had incurred damage during Hurricane Helene and was an immediate safety concern to our home as well as our neighbor’s home. As someone who has worked in the land management field for over 25 years and personally known people who have sustained life threatening injuries from falling trees, I can attest to the complexity and extremely dangerous nature of this tree removal. With a diameter of 70 inches and significant rot and cracking in numerous large limbs, this was by far one of the largest and most dangerous trees in the Columbia area and as such required a crane for removal in order to protect the life and safety of the workers and residents. Joseph did everything he could to ensure the safety of the local residents during the tree removal and I am embarrassed for my neighborhood that grace and understanding was not adequately extended to his crew. I can understand people feeling inconvenienced by the street closures but it was unfair to direct those frustrations at such a professional and caring steward of our community’s safety. Tip Top Tree is always willing to help when a tree threatens the safety of your home and I whole heartedly recommend them for all levels of tree trimming and removal. In ten years of employing various tree companies in Columbia for work around our home, this company is by far the BEST!

Joseph and his crew are amazing! I contacted him for a quote based on feedback I’ve seen on our neighborhood Facebook group. I was already fairly confident I wanted to use them based on their reputation, but they also were the quickest to respond AND the lowest price. They squeezed us in and came out earlier than expected to cut down two bradford pears. I had said I was trying to get them down before Saturday in order to get new trees through the bradford bounty program, so he made sure that happened. I have been wanting to get rid of those trees for a long time, but I thought it was by twice as much to do so. To be honest, it probably would’ve been twice as much if I went somewhere else. So not only was the price beyond fair, but they also did great work all around. They got both trees down and cleaned up the yard way more than I expected. I honestly expected to be left with at least some sort of mess, but no. Thank you guys so much! Another happy customer. (Don’t mind how bad the yard looks now. Now we can landscape!)

We had a tree leaning over our roof and power line that we feared could go at any moment. They were able to give us an assessment same day and returned the following morning to cull the tree after the power company made it safe to do so. Worked very efficiently and were very professional. Super glad we used them and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again!

Joesph & his crew were great. Both of our cars were crushed and our garage was damaged by falling tree limbs. Joesph came within two hours and had the tree removed. The cleanup was impeccable, they even raked and blew the leaves, twigs and sawdust away. We’ll use this company again and we highly recommend them.

Very quick morning response to inspect and then same day service that afternoon when I had a tree fall on my roof after a storm.

I had an urgent situation with a tree about to fall on my house. Joseph and his team immediately came out at almost 10 pm and worked until 12 at night removing the tree. It was amazing watching these guys drop a tree that close to my house in the middle of the night. Not only did these guys do an awesome job removing the tree they also took the time to clean up all the mess, and all this in the dark!! Tip Top is definitely 5 stars!!

Joseph and his crew worked so hard taking down a huge and difficult diseased pine in my yard. They got the tree down cleaned up what they could then it got dark so they came back the next day to finish. It was January 2020 and a very cold and miserably rainy day but they came as they promised and worked all day cleaning up. We were very satisfied with their work and determination to clean up all the mess that tree caused. We are so thankful for Joseph and his team. Great job and work ethic.

Tip Top Tree Service was exceptional with their services and professionalism. We had two very large trees (Oak and Sweetgum) removed from our property: one along our fence in the backyard and the other in the front yard close to the street. Watching the team work was amazing! They moved all of the toys in the backyard to ensure nothing was damaged with the falling limbs. They cleaned up after every limb that dropped and were very calculated when they dropped the massive trunk. The fence the tree grew up to wasn't even harmed in the tree's removal. They were even better (if possible) with the tree in the front! We live on a busy street and they were able to get that tree down safely within a day. The neighborhood enjoyed the show in the front and how precise the crew was with the removal. We can't thank Tip Top Tree Service enough for their awesome work!

Tip Top Tree Service came through in an emergency when a storm uprooted a large pine tree onto the roof. The owner Joseph, promptly reached out to me that morning, and arranged to reroute his crew. The removal and cleanup was completed that evening, and Joseph kept in constant contact. The price was reasonable and the bonus was a small business in the neighborhood was able to help us out.
