Emergency Readiness
Our 24 hour tree service covers emergency tree removal, fallen tree removal, and storm damage cleanup whenever severe weather hits the Midlands. We answer the phone and show up, day or night.

Family owned and operated in Hopkins, trusted across the Midlands for over a decade.
We're the local tree service homeowners call for everything from routine trimming to storm cleanup.
Founder Joseph Thomas is the heart of this company, and his story is the reason Tip Top Tree Service operates the way it does. With over 10 years in the tree care industry, he's handled everything from a single leaning oak in a backyard to multi-acre cleanup after a major storm.
Before building this tree service company, Joseph spent more than 4 years working alongside the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). That work put him on the ground during some of the region's toughest weather events, coordinating debris removal and hazard mitigation under pressure.
That background shapes how we run every job today. Our team approaches emergency tree services with the same discipline and urgency Joseph learned in the field, so homeowners get fast, competent help when a storm turns their yard into a hazard, even if the call comes in at 2 a.m.

Every estimate we write and every cut we make reflects the same standards, whether we're working a quarter acre backyard or a sprawling commercial property. We built this business on a short list of commitments we don't bend on.

Plenty of companies can cut down a tree. Fewer can show up at 3 a.m. during a storm, read a hazardous situation correctly, and clear it without putting your home, your family, or our crew at risk. Here's what sets us apart.

Joseph's years with FEMA mean our team knows how to assess storm damage tree removal and hazardous tree removal situations quickly and safely, not just cut whatever is in front of us.
We live and work in Hopkins and the surrounding Midlands, so we know the soil, the storm patterns, and the neighborhoods we serve. That local tree service mindset means we treat your property like it's our own.
From careful tree trimming services and tree pruning to removing a dead tree limb by limb, we take the time to do the job right the first time instead of rushing to the next stop.

Hopkins is home base, but our work stretches across Columbia, Lexington, Irmo, Chapin, Blythewood, Camden, Sumter, West Columbia, and Cayce. Most of our calls come from homeowners dealing with overgrown yard cleanup, yard cleanup after a storm, or a dead tree that finally needs to come down, and we treat every one of those properties with the same care we'd want for our own.
We're also building our work with commercial clients, including golf course tree services and country club tree services where tree health affects both safety and curb appeal. For these properties we handle commercial tree maintenance, commercial tree removal, land clearing services, lot clearing, brush clearing, and ongoing vegetation clearing on a schedule that fits grounds crews and course calendars.
Plenty of Midlands properties sit near water, and those come with their own challenges. We handle lake debris removal, lake cleanup services, shoreline debris removal, and waterfront cleanup for homeowners and HOAs who want their shoreline clear without damaging the surrounding landscape.

Whether you've got a dead tree threatening your roofline, storm debris piling up in the yard, or a country club grounds schedule that needs a dependable tree partner, our crew is ready to help. Reach out and we'll put Joseph's FEMA-level experience and over a decade of tree care expertise to work on your property.
